Library collection is obviously one of the most important basic resources upon which the utility of library depends. Library
collection is precious treasure of library. Allahabad Public Library (Government Public Library) provides a wide range of
books, magazines, news papers, gazettes and other study materials in Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Urdu, Arabic, Persian,
Bengla, French & other Languages for every one, whatever your reading taste. Library stock consists of approximate 1.25 lakh books
on variety of subjects fields and disciplines including reference books etc.
There is a unique collection of old newspapers and magazines in the library.
